The products offered are typical Calabrian ones. The aromas are reminiscent of our grandparents' cellars with the cured meats and cheeses stored there to ripen. If you like strong flavours, this is the right place for you. The place is welcoming and the staff are friendly and always available. I will happily return.

Wonderfully prepared Calabrian food with almost everything, including cured meats and cheeses, is made in house. The building is beautifully restored. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Start with just the antipasto (and wine) you might no be able to eat more!

When people ask me about a place where you can eat excellent Calabrian cuisine, I always point to Al Fondaco.Friendly and helpful staff, very good dishes; I recommend the Calabrian mixed starter: a tour of flavors that satisfies even the most demanding palates. But not just the starter, everything else was delicious.

Al Fondaco is one of the best restaurants on this coast: wonderful people, delicious food and good location. Thanks to the owners and to the staff for everything they do to make their clients happy, all efforts are greatly appreciated.I was surprised and upset by reading the absurd comment saying "They will try all the ways to scam you. Disgusting behaviour". In my opinion, such a statement threatens the honest livelihood of this wonderful locale.I'm a client of this restaurant for many years and I have met few people with such a high sense of honesty as Al Fondaco. I sincerely hope that the owners and staff will ignore this ridiculous comment and move on in the same way as usual, based on gentle manners, loyalty and honesty. Clients can be assured that those remarks in no way represent this captivating and excellent place. Kind regards
